For many years people have argued about the fact that did Naruto ever kill someone directly and technically avoiding fillers. The answer given to this question and nearly what everyone think is that he didn’t. This doesn’t include the people who went and did suicide or some other crazy shit after Naruto used his talk no jutsu on them (Looking at you Nagato).
But we cannot say the same anymore. The latest Boruto manga chapter CONFIRMED that the Hidden Mist Field Trip Arc is CANON so whatever events happening in the anime right now are canon. While watching the episode today, Buntan Kurosuki whom Sarada was fighting made a very important remark.
She stated that the current Hokage that is, Naruto Uzumaki killed his father in the past and because of that she suffered a lot. I WAS LIKE WHAAAAAT?
Naruto killing Buntan’s father Raiga Kurosuki is canon. So we can’t say that Naruto hasn’t killed anyone!
What do you guys think about it? I personally doesn’t feel this is right.. The killing wasn’t canon in Naruto but now if the Boruto manga & anime are making such remarks then… I don’t know what to say..
In the Naruto wiki it shows that Raiga committed suicide so is it just a misunderstanding by her side?
The wiki states –
When Raiga tried to bury Rokusuke, his group ran afoul of Naruto Uzumaki, Rock Lee, Neji Hyūga, and Tenten. He later engaged them using the Hiding in Mist Technique while Ranmaru negated Neji’s Byakugan. While unconscious from one of Raiga’s attacks, Lee manages to fight him off despite this. When Naruto asks if he knows Zabuza Momochi and Kisame Hoshigaki, Raiga stated that he hated those two, along with the rest of the seven sword members. Naruto then manages to hit him with his Rasengan, causing him to fall from a cliff and be left unconscious.
When Karashi brought Ranmaru to where Raiga’s body was, his energy awakened Raiga, who thought Ranmaru died trying to revive him. When Tenten arrived, she fought Raiga but was defeated. Raiga then had Karashi lure Naruto, Lee, and Neji to where he is. Raiga manages to trump the three until the curry Tenten and Karashi fed them enabled them to be able to fight him again. When Ranmaru acts on his beliefs and tries to convince Raiga to stop fighting, Raiga feels betrayed. Upon being knocked off a cliff by Naruto, Raiga kills himself in midair with one of his own bolts of lightning, but not before saying “Ranmaru, you’re free now”, presumably stating that he now believed that Ranmaru can live on, now that he has friends and that he can live a life without fear or loneliness.
The wiki also states this –
In the anime, Raiga had a daughter, Buntan, who he never knew was born. She grows to despise the modernisation of Kirigakure, sought to restore the village to its “Bloody Mist” era alongside Shizuma Hoshigaki. She eagerly took up his Kiba blades to help in the revolution.
I would appreciate if you could browse the following article till the end as well!
‘Castlevania’ Director Animates One Sick Naruto vs Sasuke Battle
The director of Netflix’s Castlevania has made a fan animation of Naruto and Sasuke going head-to-head and it’s pretty good. However, this isn’t a simple sketch, this is basically an animated sketch, which looks amazing. Apparently, Samuel Deats decided to create this long before Naruto and Sasuke ever fought in the manga, he was just a fan who was eagerly waiting for the battle but he couldn’t wait anymore and instead made it himself.
A few years ago, before Naruto and Sasuke even had their fight in the manga, I decided to make a fan animation of it! Here’s a clip from it! pic.twitter.com/dylg8nAZQ6

Now the official manga fight and the animation that came out only a few months ago was pretty amazing, however, I do have to admit that this video that Deats released on Twitter is pretty cool. Netflix’s Castlevania was released in July this year, with they’re so far only being 4 episodes for fans to watch. The horror series is based on the 1989 video game Castlevania III: Dracula’s Curse.
Meanwhile, the popular anime Naruto was originally released by manga illustrator Masashi Kishimoto in the Weekly Shonen Jump Magazine in 1999 and ended in 2014. The series has since inspired two animated television series’, two animated spin-off television series’, a number of video games, a plethora of animated films, two live-action theatrical performances, and an upcoming live-action adaptation.
More of my old Naruto vs Sasuke fan animation! Animating clones made me hyper aware of every time Naruto subjected the animators to that. 😶 pic.twitter.com/CJ4f07jj98
